The Collected Works of Eugene Halliday

Volume 4 - In Four Books - Contributions From A Potential Corpse

Description:

The first book of Contributions From a Potential Corpse was written in the late 1950s as the beginning of the author's magnum opus. The opening five chapters are conventional in form, if not in content. Thereafter, the remainder of this book and the three succeeding books become more episodic in form.

Over the years, right up to his death in 1987, Eugene Halliday continued to write "Pot Corpse", as he called it, as time allowed. The result may be called a Day Book of Wisdom. It contains the essence of his teaching, clearly set down and copiously illustrated in a manner fondly familiar to those who worked with him.

Eugene Halliday's close friend, David Mahlowe, wrote: "To have dwelt within the ambience of this work has been a crown experience. May it be to you, dear Reader, as great a sourcebook of perennial wisdom as its author was and is to all who love him".
