The four volumes of the book by Eugene Halliday, "Through The Bible", were first published during the late 1960s and early 1970s, by courtesy of the Rev. Canon Michael Graham, in the monthly magazines of the Parish Church of St. Michael and All Angels, at Lawton Moor, Manchester 23.

The articles were privately published in book form after Eugene Halliday's death in 1987. The chapter and section headings, listed in the CONTENTS, were added in 2002 when the quotations from the book were published on the internet. The References indicate the location in the published volumes of every quotation.

Visitors to this website are strongly advised to read for themselves the four short volumes of this simply and beautifully written book, and also Eugene Halliday's other books and tape-scripts of his lectures.
